to install the vulnerability response management, you need to request the ssp from your swimlane representative once you have the ssp connect to supported vulnerability scanners using api keys or upload csv exports configure itsm integrations set up user roles and permissions initial configuration input sources define and integrate vulnerability input sources such as scanners (qualys, tenable, rapid7) request the corresponding ingestion playbook from your swimlane representative configure any assets necessary for the scanner configure remediation paths by integrating itsm tools (example servicenow, jira) update the vulnerability assets application field “remediation channels” to include a unique value for each of your supported remediation channels create a component using the remediation item to ticket v1 0 0 interface the component is responsible for creating a new work item in the defined remediation channel insert the new component into the vrm route and submit ticket to itsm component parallel after the component but before the parallel wait, map the following fields to the existing variables using the update variable action ticket id ticket status updated ticket opened ticket status ticket status message using webhooks or existing connectors, create a flow to update the ticket status value in the remediation items record based on your unique process
