Urlscan.io Analysis

Introduction

This guide explains how to authenticate the urlscan.io Analysis connector in Swimlane using API Key Authentication. You will generate an API key in urlscan.io, collect the required credentials, and configure the connector asset in Swimlane Turbine.

You must have access to a urlscan.io account with permissions to generate API keys and submit scans.

The urlscan.io Analysis connector supports the following authentication method:

Take the following steps to generate an API key in urlscan.io:

Navigate to https://urlscan.io and log in to your account. If you do not have an account, create one.

Click your profile icon and navigate to Settings & API.

Locate the API Keys section.

Click Create New API Key.

Copy the generated API key.

Store the API key securely. This value will be used in the Swimlane connector configuration.

Connector Configuration in Swimlane

Take the following steps to configure the urlscan.io connector asset in Swimlane.

From the left-hand navigation pane, click ORCHESTRATION and click Assets.

The Asset homepage opens.

Click the plus icon to open the Configure your Connector Asset window.

Select urlscan.io Analysis from the Asset type list.

Fill in the Asset Settings and Asset Input as shown below.

Create Create.

Troubleshooting

If authentication fails:

Validate proxy configuration if network traffic is routed through a proxy.
