Sorting

the sorting tab in the chart configuration panel controls the order of data in the chart by default, dimensions are sorted by label in ascending order turbine exposes two sort targets when applicable dimension 1 and dimension 2 each can be set independently to change sorting for a dimension open the sorting tab open the drop down next to dimension 1 or dimension 2 choose one of the following by label — alphabetical order (ascending or descending) by value — order by measure value (ascending or descending) available for single dimension charts; bar charts with two or more dimensions can offer sort by value for a specific series custom — turbine lists every value in that dimension drag items into the order you want for charts with a single dimension, by value is available where the chart type supports it for bar charts with two or more dimensions, an extra sort by value option may appear date fields with certain group by settings may only allow by label sorting (for example, some standard date groupings) see measures and dimensions for group by options sorting changes chart order only it does not filter the record table to filter the table by clicking the chart, see drill in
