the sorting tab in the chart configuration panel allows you to adjust the order in which data items are displayed in the chart by default, all dimensions are sorted by label in ascending order in the application, two dimensions are available for sorting dimension 1 and dimension 2 note sort by value can be done only in two dimension each dimension can be independently configured to refine the data presentation further sorting options to change the sorting order for a dimension click the drop down menu next to the respective dimension by label alphabetical order (ascending/descending) by value numerical or value based order (ascending/descending) custom manually reorder the data custom sorting when selecting custom sorting, all available data items within the chosen dimension are displayed in a list you can rearrange the items by dragging and dropping them into the desired order this manual adjustment provides flexibility to align the chart’s presentation with specific business or reporting requirements the sorting configuration directly impacts both the tabular and visual representation of the data, allowing you to tailor the report according to your preferences
