On-Prem Turbine administrators can set a custom **Welcome Message** on the login page for all users. Use it for site branding, links to internal resources, maintenance notices, or acceptable-use guidance that users see before they sign in.

The login page always shows **Welcome to Turbine** (or your product name). Your custom message appears in the welcome area next to the sign-in form. If you leave the field blank, Turbine shows the default message:

**Prioritize alerts, remediate threats, and improve operational performance.**

## Availability

| ------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Turbine On-Prem (TP)** | Supported in Turbine 26.3.0                                    |
| **Turbine Cloud (TC)** | Not available — the login page always uses the default message |

You need permission to update **Account** settings in the Admin Panel.

## Configure the Welcome Message

1. Sign in to On-Prem Turbine as an administrator.
2. Open **Admin Panel** > **Settings** > **Account**.
3. On the **General** tab, expand **Login Experience**.
4. Under **Welcome Message**, enter the text or HTML that users should see on the login page.
5. Click **Save**.
6. Sign out (or open a private browser window) and open the login page to confirm the message appears in the welcome area next to **Email** / **Password**.

Helper text in the UI:

- **Enter a welcome message for all users on the login page.**
- **Leave it blank to use the default message: "Prioritize alerts, remediate threats, and improve operational performance."**

:::hint{type="info"}
Keep the message concise so it remains readable on smaller screens. Prefer clear headings and short paragraphs when using HTML.
:::

## HTML in the Welcome Message

The **Welcome Message** editor accepts **HTML** (for example headings, paragraphs, and links). Custom HTML is rendered on the login page in the welcome area.

Example:

```html
<h1>Welcome to My Page</h1>
<p>Click the link below to visit Google:</p>
<a href="https://www.google.com" target="_blank">Go to Google</a>
```

On the login page, that content appears under **Welcome to Turbine**, beside the sign-in form (**Email**, **Password**, **Login via SSO**, **Forgot Password** as applicable).

:::hint{type="warning"}
Use trusted HTML only. Links open for every user who reaches the login page. Prefer `https` URLs and avoid embedding untrusted scripts or third-party content.
:::

## Clear the Welcome Message

1. Open **Admin Panel** > **Settings** > **Account** > **General** > **Login Experience**.
2. Clear the **Welcome Message** field (leave it blank).
3. Click **Save**.
4. Confirm the login page shows the default message again:
   **Prioritize alerts, remediate threats, and improve operational performance.**
