The **SCF Data Import application** provides a centralized method for uploading and ingesting data into the CAR solution. It enables administrators to populate or update Custom Controls, Findings, and Remediation Plans without relying solely on playbook-based flows.

Each Data Import record serves as a container for an upload and ingestion action. Users select an **Import Type** and provide a supported file to create or update the relevant records in the CAR solution.

### Supported Import Types

- **Custom Controls (XLSX)** – Import framework-agnostic controls into the SCF Library.
- **Findings (CSV)** – Import audit findings into the SCF Findings application.
- **Remediation Plans (CSV)** – Import corrective actions into the SCF Remediation Plans application.

### Workflow

1. Create a new **SCF Data Import record**.
2. Select the desired **Import Type**.
3. Upload the required file (XLSX or CSV).
4. Click the **Ingest** action button (Ingest Controls, Ingest Findings, or Ingest Remediation Plans).
5. Records are created or updated in the relevant application.
