How to Work Around SPI Installer Incompatible Version Problem
Occasionally, an SPI upgrade preflight check may fail with βPlatform Installer (x.x.x) is incompatible with this release.β
If this happens, then perform this workaround to proceed with the upgrade.
- Delete the kurl-last-config configmap:
kubectl delete pod -l app=kotsadm-fs-minio
kubectl get configmap -n kurl
kubectl get configmap -n kurl -o yaml kurl-last-config > kurl-last-config.yaml
kubectl delete configmap -n kurl kurl-last-config
- On any node, rerun the SPI installer:
curl -sSL https://get.swimlane.io/install | sudo bash -s ha
(Include your override YAML file if you are using one.)
