Use the enable/disable toggle to control when a playbook can run. Keep drafts disabled while you build and test, then enable when ready.

## Enable a Playbook

1. Open the playbook in Canvas.
2. In the canvas toolbar, toggle **Enable** on.
3. Save your changes if prompted.

## Disable a Playbook

1. Open the playbook in Canvas.
2. In the canvas toolbar, toggle **Enable** off.
3. Save your changes if prompted.

### When to Keep a Playbook Disabled

- You are still configuring triggers or actions.
- You are testing with the Test Console.
- You want to prevent the playbook from running while you refine inputs and outputs.
