# Introduction

This guide tells you how to authenticate the CYFIRMA V2 connector in Swimlane using API Key Authentication.
You will generate an API key in the CYFIRMA platform, collect the required values, and configure the connector asset in Swimlane Turbine.

# Prerequisites

## CYFIRMA Access Requirements

You must have administrative access in the CYFIRMA platform to:

- Generate or manage API keys
- Access threat intelligence modules (Alerts, IOCs, Digital Risk, Data Breach, etc.)

## Required Credentials

During setup, you will collect:

- CYFIRMA API Base URL
- API Key

# Authentication Method Overview

The CYFIRMA V2 connector supports the following authentication method:
API Key Authentication

# CYFIRMA API Setup

Take the following steps to generate an API Key in CYFIRMA:

1. Log in to the CYFIRMA platform with an administrator account.
2. Navigate to the Account Settings or API Management section.
3. Create or generate a new API key for integration.
4. Copy the generated API key.
5. Store the API key securely. This value will be required in Swimlane.

# Connector Configuration in Swimlane

Take the following steps to configure the CYFIRMA V2 connector asset in Swimlane:

1. Log in to Turbine.
2. From the left-hand navigation pane, click **ORCHESTRATION** and click** Assets.**
3. The Asset homepage opens.
4. Click the **plus **icon to open the **Configure your Connector Asset **window.
5. Select **CYFIRMA V2 **from the Asset type list.
6. Fill in the Asset Settings and Asset Input as shown below.

# Troubleshooting

If authentication fails, check the following:

- Ensure the API key is valid and active.
- Verify the API Base URL matches your CYFIRMA environment.
- Confirm the API key has sufficient access to required modules.
- Check SSL verification settings if using internal certificates.
- Validate proxy configuration if routing traffic through a proxy
