Beginning with Swimlane version 10.2.0, the Python Driver *swimlane* Python package must be manually updated after an upgrade.

To update the Swimlane Python Driver Python package: 

1. Delete the old \_swimlane\_ Python package.
2. Update the \_swimlane\_ Python package in the Swimlane UI to the current version. To verify the current version see the Swimlane Python Driver documentation.

   If this is an embedded airgapped upgrade, please download the \_swimlane\_ Python wheel (.whl) package from [here](https://pypi.org/project/swimlane/) and update it in the Swimlane UI.

3. Restart the Swimlane API and tasks pods with this command:
   `kubectl rollout restart deployments/swimlane-api deployments/swimlane-tasks`
